I WOULD LIKE EVERY ONE OF MY LISTENERS TO MAKE ONE OR TWO SHOEBOXES AND DROP THEM OFF AT OUR STUDIOS ASAP….DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 15TH….HERE’S ALL THE INFO…
Operation Christmas Child
1) Bring a shoe box that has been wrapped (top and bottom separately) and filled with toys, school supplies, games, books, shirts, socks, personal hygiene products, etc. (See enclosed insert or pamphlet in the narthex for more gift ideas.)
2) REMEMBER items need to fit into a shoe box. Used or damaged items are not accepted.
Putting the Boxes Together
Determine whether your gift will be for a girl or a boy, and the child=s age category
(2-4 years, 5-9 years, or 10-14 years).\
Wrap your gift box lid and bottom separately
Place your donated gifts into the box
Use the appropriate boy/girl label from the brochures, mark the appropriate age category and tape it to the top of the box. If you do not have a brochure, just label your box accordingly with a small piece of paper.
Drop off your donation on or before the NOVEMBER 15TH Deadline
Dr. Opp is once again generously paying the $7.00 per box charge for shipping.
Items that are NOT acceptable:
used or damaged items
war-related items
(guns, knives or military figures)
chocolate or food
out-of-date candy
liquids or lotions
medications or vitamins
breakable items (snow globes, glass containers)
aerosol cans
