this will be fun….but, it was very very hard trying to pin down the top five songs of the year…there were so many great songs….but, here’s what i thought were the best songs of the year….

5. “ANIMAL” by NEON TREES

very very catchy lyrics and catchy beat…liked it the first time i heard it….check it out…

4.  “SECRETS” by ONE REPUBLIC

exceptional song…love the string part at the beginning…it’s a song that i would walk around singing in my head all day long….you will also find these guys on my favorite band list, too….

3.  “IF IT’S LOVE” by TRAIN

i really wanted to move this one higher, but the top three were super hard to pick….you’ll also find these guys on my favorite band list…..this, to me, is one of their best hits…THE VIDEO IS SUPER COOL, TOO….

2.  “RHYTHM OF LOVE” by PLAIN WHITE T’S

man, this song was EVERYWHERE this past year…and the fact that i saw them sing it “live” in MINNEAPOLIS helped make this song huge for me…it’s so catchy…it’s so quirky…it reminds me of some songs back in my high school days…..

1. “NEED YOU NOW” by LADY ANTEBELLUM

yeah, i know it’s country…but it crossed over to pop and BLEW people away….this group is really really good…and this is a song that sticks in your head forever…..
