ever since ST. JOHN’S IN HECLA got into church softball in ABERDEEN, we have one stinkin’ inning per game where we fall to pieces…unfortunately, last night it was the 6th inning…we were only down 4-2 in the top of the 6th, and by the time the inning was over we were behind by ten runs….oh well, as all MINNESOTA VIKING’S fans say, “better luck next time.”  (oooh..that was low…even for me..ha ha)

9.  speaking of living to be older, YAHOO recently published an article giving tips on how to live to be 100….for instance, if you see LINDSAY LOHAN”S porsche coming up fast in your rear view mirror, you’re not going to see 100…..

10.  a heatwave is gripping much of the country…people are trying anything to stay cool….like this….believe it or not, people are actually going into the theater to see the ADAM SANDLER movie “THAT’S MY BOY.”  not to see the movie, just to enjoy the air conditioning….

A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: “That’s the ugliest baby that I’ve ever seen. Ugh!” The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: “The driver just insulted me!” The man says: “You go right up there and tell him off – go ahead, I’ll hold your monkey for you.”
