2. some things really really tork me off…last night coming home from church in hecla, i got a cd stuck in my cd player…and i can’t get it out….you know, the one time i’m fired up to listen to my cd collection, this happens…that’s my luck lately….
3. man oh man, did it snow between hecla and the leola corner last night…it turned into rain all the way home to warner from there, but i was bucking snow and slushy roads most of the way home…i’m not ready for this crap…..
4. what a horrifying experience for a child and her parents…yesterday a two year old was lost in a cornfield near bath for a few hours…volunteers showed up and found the girl in a soaking rain….thank GOD things turned out good…so many things could have gone wrong….hats off to all the volunteers who helped out…that’s why we live in this area…neighbors helping neighbors…..
5. one of my favorite singers, LEONA LEWIS was at a book signing yesterday in london, when a man walked up and SLAPPED her in the face really hard….what a creep…police have the man, and hopefully the man will go to jail for awhile…..leona says she will be “better in time.” (okay, that was dumb..hee hee)
6. this is a grueling week for yours truly…in addition to working all week long in radio, i will be going to hecla FIVE DAYS IN A ROW for church stuff….i’ll guarantee you that i will be on the couch sunday……
7. david letterman’s ratings have leveled off since he stopped joking about the women he slept with….i never thought about this before, but one way or another people are tuning in to find out who’s on letterman….
8. tyra banks has become the top earning woman in prime time television, raking in roughly THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS in the past year….kate gosselin would have beat her, but apparently the revenue from “PIMPING OUT YOUR KIDS” wasn’t factored in.
9. california governor arnold schwarzenegger is calling out his wife maria shriver for apparently breaking the law by driving while talking on the phone…c’mon, haven’t the kennedy’s has enough car rides that turned out badly?
10. reverend sun myung moon of the controversial unification church, married 45,000 people wednesday in a mass global ceremony…the couples were the result of matchmaking done by the church based upon spiritual compatability…..which is pretty cool, and it beats the hell out of the lottery system that madonna uses…
11. JOKE OF THE DAY:
There was a blonde driving down the road listening to the radio. The announcer was telling blonde joke after blonde joke until the blonde was mad enough she turned her radio off. A mile down the road, she saw another blonde out in a corn field in a boat rowing. The blonde stopped her car jumped out and yelled, “You bimbo, it’s blondes like you that give us all a bad name. If I could swim I’d come out there and give you what’s coming to you!”
